Creative SB Audigy 2NX

I have bought a new sound card; it is the Sound Blaster X-Fi Surround 5.1 External USB Sound Card (Above). There is nothing wrong with my Sound Blaster Audigy 2NX External Sound Card (Middle), it is more of the power adapter is 'dead' after I bought a replacement adapter last year. The adapter is $40 and at the rate of it dying, it is not feasible to buy an adapter every year. Also I deferred into buying a good replacement of my Audigy 2NX as my computer is quite old.

The X-Fi is $89 and it is USB powered.

Improvements vs. Audigy 2NX:

X-Fi CMSS 3D (Improvement to older CMSS 3D)

X-Fi Crystaliser (Enhances and improves Music/Movie sound qualities)

EAX HD 4.0

Non-Improvements:

5.1 Max Speaker Support (7.1 for Audigy 2NX)

Dolby/DTS is only supported via Optical Out Pass-through (Audigy 2NX supports on-board decoding of Dolby, DTS through Pass-through)

I just need to buy an ac/dc adapter of 5V of at least 3A as my previous 5V/2.5A has 'burned' out.
